I wish the internet was around when I first discovered my love of diapers (I was 13 then, I'm 28 now).
many years went by.
the wanderer stood on the edge of a cliff looking down at the fantastic electric city. in times past he had lived on the sterile plain that was to become its foundation. but he left that plain when he heard of its coming so that he could watch it being built from the edge of this cliff. he had seen its glory and triumph. he had spent countless hours gazing at its goings on.
now it was a day like any other. he felt something in his throat. as he looked down he saw that the resonating glow and flash of the city was today beginning to be wounded by dimming lights. rust and decay was etched into the sides of buildings. its population was dwindling. even the onlookers who once flocked to its glamour had ceased to appear.
the wanderer walked down towards the metropolis. as he got closer its markers began to disappear. a sentry made its way to the edge of the city to meet him. the wanderer asked what had happened. the sentry told him that nothing had happened.
the city vanished.
the wanderer fell asleep on the plain. it was 1999.
